Experimental Jetset é uma empresa de design gráfico de Amesterdão fundada em 1997 por Marieke Stolk, Erwin Brinkers e Danny van den Dungen. Focalizando a sua actividade em trabalhos de impressão e instalações, os seus clientes incluem o Amstersam Stedelijk Museum (SMCS), Centre Pompidou, Colette, Dutch Post Group (TPG), Réunion des Musées Nationaux (RMN) e DE Theatercompagnie. O seu trabalho foi mostrado em exposições colectivas como Terminal Five (JFK Airport, Nova Iorque, 2004) e The Free Library (Riviera Gallery, Nova Iorque, 2004), e em exposições individuais como Kelly 1:1 (Casco Projects, Utreque, 2002) e Ten Years of Posters (Kemistry Gallery, Londres, 2006). Desde 2000 ensinam na Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amesterdão.

Focusing on printed matter and installation work, their clients have included the Amsterdam Stedelijk Museum (SMCS), Centre Pompidou, Colette, Dutch Post Group (TPG), Réunion des Musées Nationaux (RMN), and De Theatercompagnie. Their work has been featured in group exhibitions such as Terminal Five (JFK Airport, New York, 2004) and The Free Library (Riviera Gallery, New York, 2004). Solo exhibitions have included Kelly 1:1 (Casco Projects, Utrecht, 2002) and Ten Years of Posters (Kemistry Gallery, London, 2006). Since 2000, they teach at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Amsterdam).

About Personal Views

Now in its 4th year, Personal Views is a unique series of conferences that brings together an unparalleled group of designers, writers and educators from the world of graphic design. Coordinated by Andrew Howard, and taking place at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Matosinhos, Portugal, the series aims to examine contemporary definitions of graphic design by asking these professionals to talk about the values and objectives that have value for them. It is an attempt to explore where the boundaries of contemporary practice lie, to discuss what we might expect of ourselves, and to examine what social and cultural objectives we seek to fulfil.
