Reactor (http://www.reactor-reactor.blogspot.com), a portuguese blog dedicated to the design culture, is questioning a series of designers, historians and theorists on the importance of the knowledge of design history in relation to its practice.
So, we'd like you to answer the following questions:

1. How important is the knowledge of design history for a good design practice?
2. How important is the knowledge of design history for your own work?
